Austin hansen news post

Recently Matt Damon and Ben Affleck have been talking about reuniting to reform there production company but instead of it being Live Planet at Disney its going to be Live Planet at Warner Brothers. Both of them have had prestigious acting careers both twisting and turning in different directions with Ben making some poor decisions in the movies he plays in and Matt becoming an action star in the Bourne series. Matt is probley going to use this as a stepping stone to a career in directing. Look forward to them making the announcement as early as this week.

I have seen many different movies recently... some i liked, and some that were not so great... but none of the them seemed "new" they just werent quite origional enough for me. Until the director of Terminator, Aliens, Terminator 2, True Lies and Titanic, James Cameron, blew me away with something i just really wasnt expecting.

On december 18th 2009, Camerons movie Avatar was released to movie theaters throughout the world, creating possibly one of the biggest box office earnings ever.
According to Michael Hutton of the Alt Film Guide,
"This past weekend, Avatar broke the $2 billion mark in worldwide earnings."

When i walked into the movie theater and saw all the big posters of these tall blue alians, and people talking about it all the time.... all i could think was,
"great, another alien attack movie.."
Needless to say i was very wrong in my assumption.

Watching this movie, with its immense amout of action and suspence, as well as the creative romance, i couldnt help but feel like this was really one of the best movies i had ever seen. When i walked out after the movie had ended i literally had goose bumps over my entire body. This movie is deffinately a MUST SEE, its great for a thrill seeker, and a good family movie.

Sadly, Avatar was bumped off the top of the box office list when Nicholas Sparks' movie, Dear John, was released. I havent seen it yet, but apparently this is also a must see.

Hard lede

James Cameron, the director of Terminator, Aliens, Terminator 2, True Lies and Titanics new movie Avatar was an amazing movie. This was probably one of the longest, but most entertaining movies that i have ever seen.

HARD LEDE

My idea

im going to write a review on the movie Avatar. and also talk about other peoples reviews on the movie.

A change of pace

Ok so i decided to change my blog topic from "Dreams" to Movies, and my thoughts on them.
